Public School Partnerships:

OpenEd- K-12 (formerly My Tech High)
Harmony Educational Services - K-8
If you choose to use a public school partnership your child will still be enrolled through a public school. There will be some reporting back to the school on your child's progress. In doing so, you will receive a predetermined amount of funding to go towards your child's education.

Tools:

Cathy Duffy Reviews: Cathy Duffy has been reviewing curriculum for the homeschooling community since 1984. She also reviews other resources she believes are important for those interested in homeschooling, education, the origins debate, and related political and spiritual topics.

The University of Utah Reading Clinic: UURC was created by the 1999 Utah Legislature to provide specific "direct services" to Utah educators and parents. The goals of the clinic include serving as a resource for parents by offering assessment and intervention to struggling readers.

Bill Search or Find your Legislator: Decisions that effect your child's education are voted upon every year on Capitol Hill. A parent's voice is the most effective yet the most underutilized tool. You can track bills that interest you and your family on the official Utah State Legislature website and then contact your legislator to communicate your concerns when needed.

Organizations:

Utah Parents United: UPU protects the parent-child relationship by monitoring state and local legislation, and promotes legislation that supports parents in law and education.
The Utah Home Education Association: UHEA is established primarily to support the education of children in the home as a viable alternative to the existing public and private educational system.
Homeschool Hub Utah: HHU is your guide to getting started and taking the next steps in your homeschool journey in Utah.
